As the world observes World Environment Day, Save Earth Mission stands at the center of a historic environmental moment — a Guinness World Record attempt uniting thousands of environmentally conscious citizens across India and the globe.
The initiative goes far beyond plantation — it is about personal connection, emotional responsibility, and collective climate action. In a powerful citizen-led effort, every individual participating in the movement tagged their planted trees using the Main Climate App, turning each tree into a personal climate legacy.
“A tree is not just a plant, it’s a promise. When someone plants a tree and tags it with their name, it becomes a living symbol of responsibility, pride, and action,”
said Shri Sandeep Choudhary, National President – Save Earth Mission.
One of the most inspiring contributors to this global green drive is Mr. Man Mohan Agarwal, a 7-time Guinness World Record holder, who actively participated in the plantation and digital tagging effort. His involvement reflects the power of turning global recognition into grassroots action.
“This is not about breaking records — it’s about planting roots for the future. I feel honored to tag every tree I plant as a gift to nature,”
shared Mr. Man Mohan Agarwal, International Ambassador for World Records – Save Earth Mission.
Also lending intellectual and urban leadership to the campaign was Dr. C. K. Unadkat, visionary behind “Rethink Urbanization”, who emphasized the urgent need to integrate green lungs into smart city planning. His contribution reinforces the belief that India’s urban future must grow with trees, not just towers.
“Rethinking urbanization means realigning development with ecology. What Save Earth Mission has initiated today is the foundation of climate-intelligent cities of tomorrow,”
stated Dr. C. K. Unadkat.
This initiative aligns with Save Earth Mission’s long-term vision to plant 3000 crore trees by 2040, setting India on a path of sustainable, inclusive, and citizen-powered environmental transformation.
