As the Global Head of Entertainment – Save Earth Mission, Gavie Chahal actively participated in the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam – Narendra Modi” campaign, which set a Guinness World Record by planting and adopting 5,08,603 trees across India in a single day on 5 June 2025, World Environment Day.
Chahal, a proud ambassador of Punjabi cinema and a firm believer in social responsibility, has always stood at the intersection of art and activism. His long-standing association with Shri Sandeep Choudhary, National President – Save Earth Mission, dates back to their collaboration on the visionary film “Yeh Hai India”, which also carried a strong message on national pride and environment.
“Cinema has the power to awaken, and so does a single act of plantation. This mission is not just about trees, it’s about our tomorrow,”
said Gavie Chahal, while planting trees and tagging them via the Clean Climate App during the campaign.
His presence at the national event gave a motivational push to thousands of youth who see in him not only an actor but a responsible citizen who believes in action off the screen as much as on it.
“Having passionate voices like Gavie Ji leading this movement adds emotional resonance to every sapling planted. His energy connects cinema with sustainability,”
said Shri Sandeep Choudhary, National President, Save Earth Mission.
